TwinTalent was born from a clear conviction: the way we work and lead needs to be rethought.

After years in executive search, founder Ireen Kars kept seeing the same patterns: leadership roles had become unrealistically complex, the exceptional talent needed to meet every expectation was hard to find, and too many people had to choose between career and care, between pursuing ambition and their own wellbeing. Success too often came at a personal cost.

There had to be a better model. She found it in job sharing — still relatively unknown in the Netherlands, but convincingly proven in other countries. Shared leadership turns out to be not only more sustainable but also more powerful: leaders have more energy, sharper focus and greater joy at work, and feel more connected and fulfilled in what they do.

Those insights are the starting point for TwinTalent: a collective of experienced professionals who believe that shared leadership at the top should be the norm, not the exception.

We bring together HR experts, IT leaders, experienced job sharers and leadership coaches to help organisations unlock a broader talent pool, strengthen continuity and build more sustainable, inclusive leadership for the future.
